CANADA

Canada's Pavilion faces Montreal on a site of 11 acres at the upstream end of Ile Notre-Dame. Its 125 exhibits show how the nation has developed, the factors that shape the lives of Canadians, and what Canadians are like. Adjacent are the pavilions of the provinces of Canada.

The wide expanse of the Canada pavilion area as seen from atop the France pavilion. In the back is the inverted pyramid known as the Katimavik. (CD #1 Set 1 #8)

The orange globe seen here in front of the Katimavik was the People Tree, which was comprised of large photographs of Canadians. (CD #9 Set 23 #28)
